Compared to conventional collection systems, the SPB system requires less labour and is less likely to cause work-related accidents.

The main feature of our systems, in terms of safety, is that they have a receiving vestibule located in front of the compactor. As soon as a cart is enters the vestibule, the access doors lock to prevent employees from accessing the equipment.

The consulting firm Hill Engineering compared eight essential safety features on SPB’s collection systems with those of four other collection system providers and concluded that these features greatly reduce the risk of injury while the collection system is in operation.
